    Shawne Armstrong is a seasoned Human Resources and HRIS leader with more than 25 years of experience supporting manufacturing, higher education, and government organizations. He specializes in aligning HR technology, analytics, and data governance with business objectives to improve operational efficiency, compliance, and strategic decision-making across complex, multi-site environments.

    Throughout his career, Shawne has led HRIS implementations, system integrations, workforce analytics, and compliance-driven HR transformations. He brings deep hands-on experience with platforms including Workday, SAP, PeopleSoft, and Ellucian, supporting core HR, payroll, talent management, reporting, and audit readiness. His work includes guiding large-scale HRIS transitions, developing executive dashboards, supporting compensation and workforce planning initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance with ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and EEO requirements.

    In addition to his civilian roles, Shawne served more than 17 years in senior HR and executive leadership positions within the United States Army, directing HR strategy for thousands of personnel and advising senior leaders on organizational development and succession planning.

    Shawne holds an MBA from West Virginia Wesleyan College, a Master of Science in Human Resource Development and a Graduate Certificate in Inclusion & Diversity Strategy from Villanova University, a Master of Science in Strategic Security Affairs from the National Defense University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and History from West Virginia Wesleyan College. He also holds a Graduate Certificate in HR Analytics from Cornell University and is passionate about building high-performing, technology-enabled HR organizations.
